Prince Poppycock began his music talent years back as a member of several children's choirs though his first performances in the public limelight came when he performed with the children choirs at Kennedy Center, during the Washington National Opera. Prince has had performances in most parts of the USA, especially when he was in high school and college. He has several albums of solo music under his belt and he has performed some excellent music from renowned singers such as Gioachino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi to Freddie Mercury among others.

The stage name of Prince Poppycock was adorned in the year 2006, so that he can be able to perform in a nightclub show in Los Angeles. He further boosted his stage name by wearing a mask, which he named Poppycock. He uses the traits or irony, humor and sarcasm to capture the attention of his audience. He was at one time referred to as 'male' Lady Gaga due to his mask and costumes.
On August 24, during the semifinals in round one, Poppycock performed a song by a British rock band. The song 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' was originally done by Freddie Mercury, but this acclaimed singer modified it to suit the event. The song that contained no chorus was well received by the judges and other viewers who noted that it was a star performance. On 7 September, Poppycock performed several songs that saw him get a slot as one of the top 10 contestants of this show. He performed songs like star bungled banner, which was originally composed by Francis Scott, Yankee Doodle Boy, by George Cohan and Gem Of The Ocean by Thomas Becklet, which had an excerpt from the USA declaration of independence. On September 14, Poppycock performed 'Nessun Dorma' that means 'None Shall sleep', originally composed by Giacomo Puccini. He was voted the fourth contestant in the whole competition.
Prince Poppycock will be performing live with the other top 10 contestants on a nationwide tour that will be hosted by Jerry Springer. The tour will begin on 1 October at Oakland, CA, paramount theater and will end on 7 November in Orlando at FL Bob Carr arts center.
